Shannon Ralich is Chief Privacy Officer and VP of Compliance at Machinify, a leading health intelligence company. Shannon leads responsible AI governance, global privacy, and data governance programs. She advises the board and executive leadership at the point where technology strategy and enterprise value converge, bringing both the judgment to inform risk decisions and the technical fluency to assess what building and scaling require.
Over more than two decades, Shannon has helped high-growth technology companies, including JFrog, Zendesk, and Bandwidth, build the governance foundations that enable them to move quickly with confidence. Her work spans the full lifecycle of enterprise technology decisions, from early strategy through the operating models that determine whether those investments create lasting value.
Shannon is a Board Certified Specialist in Privacy and Information Security Law and has completed executive education including advanced programs at UC Berkeley School of Law and Haas School of Business, Harvard, and Boston University. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Washington, D.C.
As an industry leader, Shannon serves as Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association Privacy & Data Security Section, Vice Chair of the ABA E-Privacy Law Committee, and a member of the North Carolina State Bar Privacy & Information Security Specialty Committee. She also serves on the IAPP Privacy Bar Section Advisory Board and as Chapter Chair for the Carolinas Women in AI Governance.

Tom Corbett is Director, Product Legal at Abnormal AI and a strategic attorney focused on enabling AI-native products with pragmatic, risk-managed legal guidance.
Previously, Tom was Director, Product Counsel at GitHub, where he led legal support from ideation through launch for GitHub Copilot, one of the first breakout generative AI products. He also advised teams across the Office of the CTO/Innovation Lab, security products, and open source policy.
At Eightfold AI, Tom served as Associate General Counsel for Privacy and AI Policy, building responsible-AI-by-design programs and coordinating independent AI audits covering bias, governance, and risk assessment.
